Crazy Kayaking weekend

So, my buddy, Jerod, and I left Sat morning to run some rivers in Northeast WI. When it was all said and done we spent almost 8 hours in our boats and ran some crazy falls and rapids where we practiced our roll, boofs, surfing, scouting, and river running skills. Both of us got some new scrapes on our helmets from -too close for comfort- encounters with the bottom of the river... but it was all good because we came back safe and sound and excited about our experiences. Check out the pics below of us running Section IV of the Wolfe and Roaring Rapids Section of the Peshtigo.

Welcome to our family blog!  We invite you to share in our journey through life while we seek to grow closer to our Lord and Savior and serve Him more fully.  We know God has prepared us for such a time as this and we have faith that we are exactly where we need to be at this moment.

Adam Turner

Adam Turner
Adam is a devoted father and husband and an avid outdoorsman. He left his full time job in marketing to pursue a career in photography as well as stay at home with the kids. He loves every minute of it! He often has "wanderlust" and enjoys whitewater kayaking, camping, rock climbing, and getting others out in nature.

Erin Turner

Erin Turner
Erin is a passionate person who loves being a mother to her two active children and a wife to a wonderful husband. She is a pediatrics resident at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. She has a love for children and helping families. She enjoys being out in Creation with her family and friends!

Lindson Turner

Lindson Turner
Lindson is an energetic 2 1/2 year old with a passion for anything with wheels! He loves living out in the country with lots of room to roam and play. He loves tractors, animals, cars, trucks, mowing the grass, and helping his dad out with anything he can. He is a wonderful big brother to his little sister and can often be seen trying to sit on her lap (unsuccessfully). His favorite things to say include "look at that!" as he is often amazed by the wonders of God's creation.

Sierra Turner

Sierra Turner
Sierra is our beautiful, cuddly 1 year old little girl. She has a smile that can light up the room and is also quite the flirt with her many facial expressions. She works hard to keep up with her big brother and loves to pull the fur off our pets. She has beautiful, bright red hair and it is completely obvious that she is developing a fiesty personality to go along with it!

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned; the flames will not set you abaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy one of Israel, your Savior..." - Isaiah 43: 2-3
